Monique Evancic has a decade’s experience creating meaningful content that engages audiences. She currently serves as the Senior Media Relations Specialist for Delta Dental of Idaho and the Chair for the MarCom team for Boise Young Professionals. She started her video production career in public television at the PBS affiliate station in Los Angeles. There she co-produced short-form newsmagazine stories in a range of attention-grabbing topics from the exciting release of endangered bald eagles to the heartwarming tale of a patient meeting his organ donor’s family for the first time. While studying at Pepperdine, she worked with marine biologists to produce an educational documentary on the elusive California Grunion. It aired on BBC and Animal Planet as her first national production credit. Evancic then headed north joining Idaho Public Television, but not before stepping into the roles of Producer and Writer for ABC & CBS affiliates in California and Idaho. A gifted project manager and researcher, Evancic is talented at breaking down vast initiatives into simpler elements in order to deliver a stunning end-result. She has been trusted to produce web videos for high-profile brands such as HP, 3M, Idaho Central Credit Union, and Intermountain Gas, among others. Evancic has also co-produced a number of high-visibility, live broadcast events, including the ED SESSIONS with Mike Rowe. Evancic has also appeared as on-camera talent for Verizon, the National Interagency Fire Center, the Idaho Lottery, Albertsons Supermarkets, St. Luke’s Hospital, et al. Additionally, she has collaborated on short films for the i48 Film Festival and the 2013 Sun Valley Film Festival (which brings us to her credo: “He who collects the most lanyards wins”). Evancic is an outdoorswoman who loves to travel and likes to eat well, preferably at the same time. With a knack for helping dogs adopt the right humans, she is known among friends as the ultimate Canine Spiritual Advisor.
